Varsity Life

 A profile of university life ca 1923 as it centred on Hart House.  The film introduces University of Toronto President Falconer, Vincent Massey and Hart House Warden Burgon Bickersteth, then proceeds to cover various athletic and artistic features of the facilility, notably a rare flimpse of the Hart House Theatre in rehearsal and performance of Ibsen's "Rosmersholm" under the direction of Bertram Forsyth.

Royal Visit, 1939 at Hart House

H.R.M. George VI and Queen Elizabeth visit Hart House for presentation of colours to the Toronto Scottish Regiment and attend a luncheon offered by the Province of Ontario, with dignitaries.  Note that title cards on film describe events and list most notable dignitaries.
